The effects looked alright to me except the ones where it looks like the screen is going up and down getting bigger and smaller. I thought the blood red water was cool.

Hey great pics Shawn and that boy of yours stole your rod and reel I see. I like the pic of that trout,it has the red eye from the camera. That makes it look mean. Congrats on the new boat and it looks better in the water then on the trailer.

The turning radius is more then an 18 wheeler (I said the same thing about my 160 before I put a rudder on it). I had a Prowler 15 and it would turn like a 18 wheeler if I didn't make one paddle on one side in one direction and then a paddle on the other side in the opposite direction. It definatel...

prowler 15

I had a prowler 15 for about a year. It's only a wet ride when there is choppy water and the wind is blowing at you from the side. It does have some slap to it but if you stake it out so that it points in to the waves you can hardly hear it.If you're not staked out sneaking up on fish is not going t...

That was pretty cool. What were you using to shoot the video? I dont think most still digital cameras have that long of video. Or at least mine doesnt. I think it is more like 2 minutes max. And where do you host it and what else is involved in getting it up so other can view it. And how do you mou...

I've been to CRB many times also and have never had a problem there. Often there is a guy down there I think his name is Bill who will talk to you and ask you about how many fish you caught. He has a little puppy in a cage in the back of his truck. Nice guy,if you see him talk to him.

I haven't figured out the thread about the buick yet. I did find online the yakima rudder that is supposed to be universal to many kayaks for less then $150. http://topkayaker.net/TopKayakerShop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_73&products_id=166&zenid=de398dae85ea96bc095ef68560c...

Thanks for the info CooknFish. Ocean kayak wants $250 for a new one. I thought I saw on this forum somewhere where some place sells rudders that would fit and not cost as much and was suggested it was a better rudder. I'm not sure who it was talking about it. I'll keep lookging on the forum for it.

shallowrider, Be sure to get your ham radio license before you ever transmitt on two meters. The locals and the FCC take a very dim view of unlicensed operators. You can get up to a $5,000 fine for it. As far as ICOM or Yaesu- I think ICOM is the better handheld, but their batteries are crap. Go wi...
