I was realling as slow as I could. The popper, was sucked in and still missed. I didn't even set the hook. The buzz was moving as slow as I could get it to move and keep it on top of the water. It was almost as if they hit it once and didn't want it again.

After the cold snap!

So, what are your plans after this recent cold snap. How do you plan on attacking the fish. Are you going to target a specific kind of fish? I am going to wait a couple of days and let the water become more stable and then bring everthing I got. No fish left behind!...LOL! After a good 4 or 5 days o...

Went to Walmart...they have discontinued there fly fishing stuff. When to dick's and got a kit for $40. Is there anyway to practice with out the fly? Kinda like when learning how to cast a baitcaster.

Fly Rod?

I can see the fun in fly rod fishing for blues and specks. Fly fishing is new to me what gear are you using for this type of fishing? Links to gear would be great. Rod, Reels, and line? Thanks!

Crappie?

Went out in the lake in the back yard today. About 50+ feet off the shore the lake has tons of bottom changes. Haven't really fished it much until I got my kayak a couple of weeks ago. I caught one Crappie trolling along, but there was some type of fish that kept breaking the surface of the water. T...
