I was realling as slow as I could. The popper, was sucked in and still missed. I didn't even set the hook. The buzz was moving as slow as I could get it to move and keep it on top of the water. It was almost as if they hit it once and didn't want it again.

I was the lake Saturday until after dusk. I saw some bass hitting the top of the watyer in the middle of the lake. Through on a mini buzz first pole and a top water popper on the second. I kept missing then!! Missed three good ones!!

Hopefully it will be warmer! I am getting cabin fever from not fishing the past two weeks.

To bad that wasn't caught on film. AFV for sure!

So, what are your plans after this recent cold snap. How do you plan on attacking the fish. Are you going to target a specific kind of fish? Walmart no longer has fly stuff. Got one from Dick's for $40. Now I can't wait!

Went to Walmart...they have discontinued there fly fishing stuff. When to dick's and got a kit for $40. Is there anyway to practice with out the fly? Kinda like when learning how to cast a baitcaster.

I can see the fun in fly rod fishing for blues and specks. Fly fishing is new to me what gear are you using for this type of fishing? Links to gear would be great. Rod, Reels, and line? Thanks!
