Re: PFTS #2 Final Results-Updated
Congratulations to all the winners. Thank you to all the sponsors; it was a pretty cool bag of tricks. And of course, thank you Todd, Rik and MarkM for making these fun tourneys even for us sucky fishermen (honest, I do catch fish...Just not in these tourneys...Go figure).

Re: PFTS #1 Final Results-Updated with pics.
Congratulations to all the winners. With a short window of opportunity and only two rods and lures, you all showed us who the real fishermen were <g>. And even though I continue with my streak of zero fish (except for a very small trout in last year's North TB event), these tournaments are still FUN...

Nice red! Must be awful to have to catch so many big reds before you get a keeper.

Re: Trout Recipes
First off, I take my fillets and rinse them in fresh water. Take a gallon size zip-lock and mix kosher or sea salt with enough water in the bag to cover the fillets. You can now freeze the fish for up to six months. Fish frozen in a block of ice will not get freezer burn which is the usual reason an...

Re: Yes, they do work.
I've worn an inflatable since getting a kayak. I often forget I have it on when I beach somewhere to stretch my legs. I may be wrong, but I think I read in the FWC rules (back when I was deciding on a PFD type) that if you use an inflatable it must be worn at all times on the water.
