b) paddle one handled and hold the rod one handed - no reeling I hooked a large snook in a rather small canal and it pulled me into the mangroves three different times, after doing the one handed paddle battle and getting out into open water the fish changed directions and got lose. :evil: I thought...

I have a 3000 with 15# PP on it and I had multiple wind knots right from jump street. The reel was overspooled. Works like a charm a little less line on it.

Hello everybody, I am Eric from the Gateway area. I just got a Old Town Dirigio 12 ft. kayak in January. Its very ugly, very slow and was very cheap. For $200 I got on the water and mobile. I love it!! Im here to learn. I fish a lot after at night after work and sometimes night and day on the weeken...
