Relaxing morning
Launched at PI and started fishing around 8am. It was a nice morning with pelicans diving on bait and a lot of mullet jumping. Started off throwing the TW and caught a few smaller rat reds. I was volunteered to housesit this weekend for my parents when they head to NYC. I'm going to bring my kayak and fish Picnic Island Saturday and Sunday. I know a few fishy spots back there. Anyone interested in joining me? I would like to expand my network of fishing/kayaking enthusiast. Seems like ...

Did not go South. I just started to fish that area. Next time I will head south towards Gandy. But Gandy to WI is also a good bet.

Bayside Bridge
I have always wanted to fish this area as I drive across the Bayside Bridge in Clearwater/Safety Harbor. Do any of you know where I could launch there? Would like to make a trip over there.

Spot Creepers
I broke the cardinal rule. A couple weeks ago I got an email from an old friend from back in HS that I hadnt talked to in 9 years. Made the mistake of taking him to a really fishy Snook hole. He didnt catch any that night and I ended up with 4 Snook in his face all between 30-35". I hadnt heard...

Record Gar? Or Fake?

What do you think? Real or Fake? Story seems little unreal as his dog grabbed his jean cuff and held him. There is no way they were holding this fish if it were really pissed of.

Re: Top water for trout
I use the all white or "bone" color spook jr and have caught alot of fish. In fact I have tried many other colors and I have them most strikes on the bone/all white color.
