I wanna catch one of these fish really bad... Can anyone help out?? I wanna plan a trip for late October and I dont know where to go and or park and launch(safely). and what do I use???

I have a pvc pole with a -t- ..and an anchor with only about 10 ft of line. I usally fish real shallow so the 5ft pole is a great anchor... and if i do go into deeper water i usally dont go over 10 ft... if i do anchor the extra line goes in the foot area of my tarpon...I havent had a problem yet......
