Re: We missed you
Hey guys, thanks for posting up all the tournament info and the pic and sip photo's. I may be a little to far away to participate, but I do enjoy seeing the results. The spring migration has just started up this way, so I should be able to splash my kayak soon and get a line wet once the water temps...

Re: Aquidneck Island Striper Team - Leadfest 2013
Flounder fishery isn't what it used to be..., the stripah on the other hand is a whole different story. Pretty soon we will be jigging up squid from that old pier (T-shaped), still dilapidated. Eels are referred to as Striper Candy now, but I've never seen them turn up fresh chunks of Menhaden, Porg...

Re: My all in one sounder fishingrod holder set up.
looks great what battery are you using?? I have an eagle fish finder simulare to yours and wanted to rig to my canoe ACE Hardware stores should have a comparable battery. I'm not sure which model I have, be sure to get a larger one, if you go small the charge will not last long. They cost about $24...

Herring Runs
Checked on two runs and they both have Herring stacking up. They were a few weeks earlier last year, but with the colder winter temps this year they are showing up on time. The stripah's won't be to far behind...

Urbanlegend I used a 4" Albino Zoom Fluke on a 1/4 oz. Wallyworld jighead (round, uncolored). I cast out and used a slow retrieve bouncing along the bottom. I'll attach another photo, this one is a White Pearl - Zoom Fluke. It shows the jighead. OOPS..., file is to big to attach. Copy of DSCN09...

Rhode Report - Saint Patrick's Day 2013
Went on a shore excursion in the Capitol City earlier in the morning and got tight with my first striper of the year. It was a cold one out there..., the tip and the closest guide to it were icing up. I released the schoolie for another day. I'll be checking on the Gilbert Stuart Herring run later i...
