Re: They don't get that big by being stupid

Sometimes it is really great to take a beating, and have the Fish win. It's not always about numbers, but more the experience! You won't soon forget that one, but will remember "Her" with a smile .... That ain't all Bad, is it?

Re: Rudder Question!!

Rivers present different problems than tidal flow. In the rivers that I fish "up nort" in Arkansas people sometimes use a "Drag Chain". Problem with these is proper length for the Flow, and the size of the craft. I have used a 18"-24" Heavy Chain (1 1/2 link) for a 20' ...

Re: Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge, Milton, Delaware

Most of the locals know the better spots, some will go to Public Ponds, but it seems they have access to more private water. With less pressure probably better Fishing. Haven't had another chance since. Will update when and if!

Re: new member/ hunting kayak info

Personal opinion, buy used for first Kayak, cheaper and talk to seller. There is a lot of "Local Knowledge". Look on the Classifieds posted for a good deal. 2cents, please!

Re: Cross Bayou

There are ways to get into Cross Bayou, not all of them are good/easy tho. 1. Park St, South of 62nd Ave, across from a Shopping center. Actual Launch is a side of the Road but is very public, I have never heard of problems. Decent side of the road parking. Paddle South until you reach the Old Power...

Several nice afternoon sessions with only one that just didn't pan out. I'll be back for the late Summer Hopper Season! Time for me to start toward Delaware (...
