Re: The Panfish Chronicles - Lake Manatee

Good looking fish. I haven't had much luck with poppers and prefer dry flies, and tiny streamers. But always a blast on the fly.

Re: So - which one of you is still for oil drilling in the G

So let’s keep buying oil from the Arabs… F’ing tree hugging idiots… Here is something you can do if you care that much, instead of whining and bitching from your comfy seats while driving your big SUVs and trucks. Anyone who wants to help in the areas affected by the spill can call the Deepwater Hor...

Same thing at Flamingo, today.
Dead snook, mayans, ladyfish, and catfish. Buttonwood canal was full of dead fish, and fish dying.

I have two 7 1/2 footers, a 7wt, and a 10wt Biscayne rod, Billy Baroo. Great for mangrove banging. As far as casting distance they are no problem. Just remember to point you rod tip up, and you shouldn't have a problem casting from a sitting position.

Bass pro has David Whitlocks video for like $9.00. I know you wanted a book, but trust me, I've looked for years, and bought almost every book I could find.

Nothing beats that video. It really made understanding the tecnique easy. And Dave is one of the best in my book.
