Way to go Hatch !

Sounds like you have been fishing as often as I have this past year. We should go out one of these days.

Flounder

Is anyone catching flounder these days ? I seem to remember Neil saying he hasn't seen many since the last big Red Tide.
I finally have time to get the yak out .

I had a customer in the shop this week who was recovering from a shark bite on his forearm. He was practicing 'rolls" in his kayak, on the bay side of Honeymoon.

They are back!

I am a bit disapointed in your technique ! You seem to have forgotten to set the hook with gusto when the guy opened his mouth, and had his hand near the hook. Bury that barb!

Ever hear of a BIG rubberband, 6 to 8 inches long. They work just fine and do not get in the way. Come in various colors to match your yak if you need to look "uppity" .

I will NEVER, EVER buy another YELLOW yak. My current yak is a yellow Scupper Pro and it is gonna have to go some day soon. Probably put a milk crate in it and sell it to Neil, he'll buy anything. If I keep using it I will need neck surgery because of 'whiplash". That color accelerates so fast ...

Well I have had time to try the "Cocoons" mentioned above, and am very satisfied with them. At $42 I can replace them every year if I destroy them.

I have graduated trifocals in reg and sunglasses. The 'sun' are not polarized. Rather than spend big bucks on another pair of sunglasses, I am trying "Cocoons". I picked them up at Bass Pro for $42. They are wraparound and fit nicely over my existing glasses. They do not distort my vision....
