Okay, most of the stuff I tie is unconventional anyway. I even have an idea of what to tie, let you know when the prototype is finished.

In this example using bead chain eyes they are on top. Guess it would depend on which way you want the hook point to ride, neither is wrong, at least to me.

I will use the PB for something special, certainly not to experiment. It is a really neat material with a whole different texture than bucktail, also has a translucent quality that bucktail lacks.

Finally, I can get back to the bench and work on my flies, therapy. The real world is taking up too much time. These aren't very good but at least a start. These first flies are the damselflies I wanted to try. This is what I needed wing material for. First tried these extended bodies with bucktail ...
