Tim Wade cast nets.
I know there aren't many live baiter's here, but I thought I would share a review with you folks that do throw cast nets. I had a extra heavy 10 footer for about 35 years that was made by "Frank the Net" down in the Keys. Back then owning a "Frank the Net" cast net was like ownin...

If its only valued at $375, I'd consider buying it and then offer to lease it to your neighbor.

Re: Fort Desoto
Glenn,
I would suggest putting in on the West side of the causeway just before you get to the last bridge before the park and boat ramp. Head toward the gulf and try the deeper holes in the grass flats and around the islands.

Re: Fort Desoto
Where to fish would depend on if you plan to use a boat, kayak, or wade. As to bait, live or frozen shrimp and any of the bait shops. Green backs in Bunces Pass with cast net or Sabiki rig. Sand fleas along the surf with a shovel, dollar crabs under the bridges on the out going with a dip net. Artif...

Re: Used Kayak Tralier Help
I have a Malone trailer and like it OK but feel they are over priced. The going rate for new with racks and spare is around $1,500 so I would say $900 to $1,000 for a new/used one. http://www.outdoorplay.com/Malone-MicroSport-2-Boat-J-Pro2-Kayak-Trailer-Package?sc=7&category=266" onclick=&q...

Re: Just a note
Been out 3 times in the skiff off St. Pete Beach this year and have only seen two pods that didn't stay up along enough to even get a shot at. I heard they are showing up pretty good at the Skyway and Egmont but its been slow along the beach.

Re: Cayo Costa & Boca Grande
Might try looking for fish along the beach on either side of the pass. When you see a school you will probably have them all to yourself. Cork rod, with pins, crabs, or greenies.
