Careful about doing a taste test of springs you see. Down here in the river you can see a boils off of one of the bridges. Guess where it comes from??? Outfall from the treatment plant. I think they are in the process of closing that off and moving the water in to the reclaim system. Good fo...

Here is what I put on my Trident for Toe Controls. Several better styles have come along since I put these on. Once you use toe controls you don't want to go back to the slides. http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t229/Go-YakFish/Trident/T2007-10-14-Trident-Rigging024-fron.jpg If you what to go with ...

I don't think you could camp in the NWR anywhere. Maybe if you snuck in after dark, left before dawn and had no fire but I don't think that is what you want to do. There is no camping on the Causeway Islands, talk about making the Sanibel Natives restless. You could try to camp on Picnic Island but ...

A Couple of Options I use: 1. Take it to a shop when you have your reel serviced and ask the to reverse the line. The shop I take my reels for work does it for no change with a service, I have dropped a bit of coin there lately so some places may charge you a couple of bucks. 2. The other day I reve...

I think the total weight is reported around 25-30#'s, easy to breakdown. Cost I heard was around $800 for both the leaning post and pontoons....
