Re: Adjustable Rods

Solution to a non-existant problem

I'm going to miss those sunset photo's, we would trade our photo's of the day on facebook, sunrise from me and sunsets from Terry.

Re: We lost another great one on Monday

I am pleasantly surprised to see the outpouring of support from you all. Mom's 65th birthday falls this Saturday when we will be holding an open house Celebratio...

Re: Change in fishing tactics for winter fishing?

Don't dismiss big baits completely - winter is big trout time and they love a large topwater. Also if your fishing docks and structure a shrimp pattern dragged along the bottom can be very effective.

Re: Change in fishing tactics for winter fishing?

Slower presentations
Lighter leader (when Snook are not likely)
Dark bottom (warmer) darker lure colors
Creeks and Rivers
Deep holes

Some of the things I focus on during winter

Re: Does anyone know of a river that you can....

You can also camp at some parks that have river access - Koreshan near Ft. Myers in on the Estero river and offers good access to Estero Bay. Jonathan Dickinson near Jupiter is on the Loxahatchee river, which is a very special river, and one where it is possible to catch all 4 species of Snook, Comm...
