No pictures of the trout. They may surface but I doubt it. The Bonefish are on another forum.sfurman wrote:Waiting for the pictures.

Re: what "winter weather" clothing do use
Depends on just how cold it gets.
Normal winter day, I just wear a pair of rain pants over my pants, a sweat shirt or pull over wind breaker. If the water is in 60's, I'll still get out and wade. I just ignore the fact I'm cold.
Now if it gets real nasty and colder, I'll throw on the waders.

What do you think?
After seeing the nice trout brought in and tales of larger ones that got away, I heard this story this weekend. A 32" trout was caught this past week on the south shore. Now the guy who caught I have known of for years, he is a "well known" "ex-commercial" fisherman on the s...

You guys are all safe now, I'm out. The ruling powers have decided that its not a good idea for me to take all your money.
See you at the Pic-N-Sip.

Re: That guy at the top of the page...
Thanks guys. Steve, I wish it was just gas. So, I was at my rheumatologists office on Weds getting an IV infusion called a Myers Cocktail. Basically what this is, is a high dose of vitamins in IV form. I've had seven of these before and was really feeling a lot better. It was boosting my immun...

Re: Here Is A Sad Story and A Reminder To Be Safe Out There
They have a different batch of sharks too. We have bull, hammerhead and lemon. They have great white, tiger and mako.... Size matters. They do not have Great Whites in Hawaii, waters to warm. And in the past they have gone out and hunted down and killed the shark. In most cases, its a Tiger Shark a...

8 shark attacks there this past year, with a bunch in Oct. A German tourist lost a arm and later died.
I think they have a serious shark problem, which they wont do anything about as Hawaiians hold sharks as sacred.

Re: Saturday, Nov 2nd
What a morning. Lots of action and maybe a very hesitant decision to stay out a bit longer than we should have. http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e75/howard00755/DSC_0064_zpsce48c644.jpg http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e75/howard00755/DSC_0062_zps2db0b4c2.jpg This is when the fishing got good, it ...

Re: Gill Nets are Back??
A 2" inch mesh net is just a small gill net. I have a picture of hundreds of dead baby ladyfish that I found at the Kitchen one winter. You could clearly see the drag marks of the nets they used.

PFTS #2 Plea
Rik has worked very hard to put these tournaments together. Gambler has stepped up to the plate huge for this event. So has ProCure, along with other sponsors for the Pic N Sip. Gambler is bringing a professional photographer and outdoor writer for this event as well. So come on, sign up and bring a...
