My buddy and I hit coral creek early. Tide was rollin in fast at 7am.. We drifted the creek fishing the shoreline. Right from the launch I trolled a white spoon with a spinner and bam!! Dink Trout. gold spoons work great if you are catching lady fish here in charlotte harbor. Troll one of these boys and you are for sure gonna get ladyfish and trout on the flats.

Ditto Rik caxambas very busy. You could try the public launch before the Marco bridge and once u leave ramp go left instead of right. And go into backwater . You would go left under next bridge you come to and head west . A lot of great backwater there heading towards isle of capri.

I wish I new the ins and outs of tarpon fishing . There were a few rolling near us all morning in lemon bay near blind pass. I wouldnt know what to use.
