Re: Dumb lil' John question

Rig it weedless over the grass, and just twitch it. For potholes and areas void of grass, rig it on a 1/8 oz jig head and just work it slow. Golden Bream color works well this time of year. With the colder water, the fish are zeroed in on small bait like small crabs and mud minnows, so that color ha...

Re: Rudder Question!!

Be careful of using a drift chute wile drifting that river. Any underwater snag that you cant see might catch that chute, and then you would have some troubles.

A rudder would be the prefect fit.

Re: Adjustable Rods

Todd, Don't you remember when Capt Dick came out with his stakeout pole, everyone said it was way too expensive? I cant count the number of stakeout pole manufactures there are now. Yes it seems "Gimmicky", but there might someone who is interested. Just because you don't like it, doesn't ...

Re: Adjustable Rods

Aircraft Grade aluminum. Only supposed to add 2 oz. to the total weight.

Lets say you had some rods made, and they were too short. This is an easy way to fix that.

Todd, I remember when stake out poles were called a "Gimmick".

Re: Adventure Fishing World Championship 2014

Congrats Steve.

So, where were all those guys with the Hobies at this year? All I heard last year was how everyone was getting a Hobie so they could "dominate" this year.

Glad it worked out Tommy.

Don't worry about standing, it seems faster is better. That way you can cut off your friends before they have a chance to cast. Just sayin.........

Re: We lost another great one on Monday

I don't know where to begin. Its with a heavy, heavy heart that I write this. Terry was one of the first people I met through kayak fishing. When I joined the CFKA (Central Florida Kayak Anglers) Club 12 years ago, Terry was always at our meetings wanting to learn more about catching fish from a kay...

Cold and Dreary with a Chance of Hope.

Winter is my favorite time to fish here in the bay, the water clears up, the sight fishing is excellent and the crowds that show up in the summer are gone. Buts its been almost three months since I have been on the water. Most of you know I have been struggling with some type of immune disorder that...
