Sorry I missed it. I feel like crap, got a fever that comes and goes, I may even skip tonights meeting if I don't stop sweating soon. Plus my wife is on my back because i'm not taking care of myself like I should. She don't know what it's like to be addicted to fishing.

Baitcasters are good for any lure that needs action not just top waters. Jigs and jerk baits also benefit from the superior action the bait caster imposes on the lure. Thats why they dominate bass fishing. Also bombing a shore line you can do so with more accuracy with a BC..I like my Diawa Coastal ...

Baitcasters also allow you to switch hands. (When throwing alot of spinning tackle all day) which will give your arms a chance to rest. They can also cover alot of water quicker.

Beautiful area to fish, Creek fishing is my favorite you can work both sides at the same time and the big fish can really make it dramatic for ya when you hook one.
