First time I havent shown up, but had a prior engagement, and no I still wouldnt have shown up if I had a winning combo, though evidently I did So give a little credit to those who come and fish anyway even though they know they cant make the awards.

If I was going to buy any production kayak for fishing it would be a Native Watercraft ultimate 14, hands down best design in my opinion. My 14 Hornbeck Kevlar/carbon weighs 25lbs. With the Stinger anchoring bracket and Native Watercraft seat probably 30lbs. For me it is the only way to fish, would only use live bait if I needed to catch fish for food. Based on my observations the Spook jr. has caught more fish and won more tournaments than any single lure. Next in line for me would be a Mirrodine standard size, and then a DOA 4" white or gold flec...

I dont know of a chartreuse lead weight for weedless hooks, so I assume we dont have to worry about that correct?

While your at it look into the microwave guide system developed by Doug Hannon, I have it on my rods and the difference in smoothness, distance, and utimately accuracy is very noticeable.
