I've been using a Gator gold spoon with a gulp jerk shad hooked thru the lip and slid all the way up the slot in the middle of the spoon. It's weedless also. Unbelievable results. I use a quarter ounce on the pole that I am going to hand work, slow reeling with a jerk now and again..reel too fast an...

I've used the grips Chewbaka is talking about and they are great. Put em on a couple months ago and wouldn't be without em. Not only a better grip on the paddle but easier on the finger joints. I started to have nerve problems with the middle joint of my thumb, as I was paddling so much...these grip...

I attached a set of the blinking lights that "real" bike stores carry. I used to ride in 100 mile races and these lights were always dependable, almost waterproof and only cost about $6.

I screwed them onto the rudder and they work great!

I went and talked to my friendly neighborhood used golf store and am using a graphite driver shaft...works like a charm thru my scuppers but now I have blocked my scuppers...tired of "wet bottom syndrum" and need to find a way to "leash" the pole to the side of the yak....doesn't...
