There is also Bishops Harbor to the south but I haven't launched there in many years, I understand it has all been redone.

Thanks to all the volunteers that showed up to help, sorry I couldn't make it this time.

7 tons of oyster shell for 360 LF of oyster bar, lunch and all done noon.

$500,000 in prizes and $100,000 in scholarships for youth anglers there is also prizes for most fish reported and other ways to win, data will be collected for the FWC research too. Tournament runs from Memorial day through Labor day, you must register before it starts. Thanks.

Got out Saturday morning in spite of the threat of rain in the Big Bend, the wind was kicking butt though. Planned on getting a red for dinner and a few trout to take home to FIL so, I loaded up the cooler with ice and the kayak in the truck and headed out. Plan was to go scouting in the woods later...

Turkey hunting starts next weekend so I have to get out and do some scouting this weekend but I also plan on putting in the kayak and trying for some fishing at least once maybe in the afternoon.
