The advantage of the powered kayak over the jon boat, is you have the option of paddling home if the battery or motor fails. Imagine trying to paddle a jon boat any distance. Also the kayak is much more easily driven, hence more cruising time than a jon boat.

There were only two tides, so it was low all day, I was there early but could find no sign of snook or reds, as usual plenty of trout, how do you like this place vs. CRB?

Testing different lures trying to decide on which to use in the tournament, went to Bishop Harbour today, VERY low tides, little overcast, windy, and cool, in the morning, got nice about mid day. Was looking for signs of snook or reds, but no luck, I have never caught a red here. decided to fish bet...
