What kind of lure did you catch them on?

What lure were you using? And how big was that trout?

Man you are wading pretty deep, do you find it works better to wade? and that deep? I bought some hip boots for winter but am thinking maybe waders might be the way to go since seeing your photos

Nice snook but it dosent look to fresh in the picture, did you put it on ice? Best to gut and put on ice immediately, or you wont be eating very tasty fish.

How do you take the self portraits? Is the camera mounted somehow?

I tested both ways and found mashing barbs did not result in significant loss of fish, so I mash.

Based on what I am reading, if the fish is dead on the stringer it will spoil, and if you are going to put it on ice you should bleed it first and then gut it, then put it on the ice, comments?
