Over every mountain there is a path, although it may not be seen from the valley

When I retuned the borrowed kayak to Sahmus last weekend we had the same conversation.
Being out on the water in the kayak is the prize. Catching fish is the bonus.

Likewise! This will be the first summer I can fish the migratory fish off the beaches since 2005.

I just sent my old 12wt down there. A new buddy spotted tarpon 2 weeks ago.

You mean those palm sized ones you caught didn't cure the fever ?
Racked my back this past week couldn't walk for the first two days, must mean the season is getting very close.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention that I am especially looking forward to this tarpon season since DaveR is going to be doing tarpon surfing demonstrations on his Versa Board. So if he is standing up will he still be able to give a tarpon that forearm block if they try to jump onboard with him?
