Man that's a big 'ol flag on the stern.

From the museum of what it's worth, I bought one of the below from Harbor Freight and put it on the kayak. $5.



I don't know how many "red flag gizmos" flew/broke off the kayak before I ended up using an older hunting safety vest. The mesh seems to survive longer than a solid. The reflective material is a bonus.

You can cut that Harbor Freight one in half. It's pretty big.

I attached it using one of these bungy gizmos. Comes off really easy when you want it to. Stays on when you want it to.



If you don't cut the vest, you have the added bonus of being able to be the construction dude from the Village People. Comes in handy at the PFTS weigh ins - you never know when you'll have to redirect traffic or if a mad version of the "YMCA"/"In the Navy" is going to break out. Is that Rik behind those Foster Grants?

On a serious note:
I've noticed that even when beaching on a good day the Native takes on a fair amount of water.
I've thought of either adding a new boat to the garage or just making a change.
What are the suggestions for a new boat with the following criteria:
Weight - I just don't want to lug around a heavy KAYAK.
Standing - Not a big deal for me I don't enjoy standing in a kayak, just a swim waiting to happen
Seat- Love the seat in the native
Storage- Just needs room for a crate I've learned to down size my gear.
Color- Yellow ( I like a fast kayak)
Paddling-The Tarpon 160 was my ideal kayak for speed- seat sucked.
So what's out there gentlemen?
