fishable ponds in Pinellas Park?

Post by Rooster »

Where are some good areas to do some freshwater fishing from shore, mabe a small pond or something. I was thinking mabe lake seminole, or somewhere similar. I went ahead and got a freshwater/saltwater combo liscence and Im yet to go freshwater fishing. I'd like to add a nice bass and mabe a mudfish or two to the photo gallery.

I used to have a link to all the ponds the county stocked. It was called the "Urban Pond Program".

This is all I could find for now.

Freshwater Fishing Near Tampa/St Pete:

Topo maps of some Tampa Bay area ponds:

Freshwater Fisheries Management:

Freshwater Sites & Forecasts (I believe we are in the SW region):

If I find any more info I send it along.

Hope this helps. Good fishing!
