Broward County Peacock

Post by bluebill »

I tried the canals west of Miami for LM bass and Peacocks after Christmas with no luck. Finally went to a favorite lake in Pembroke Pines and caught a few largemouths and this nice Peacock, my first on a topwater plug.

I released this fish unharmed. Next trip, I will fish a bass bug with the fly rod.
