I was impressed, that the older I got, the more patient I became. Turns out, I just don't give a shit.

That sure is a great area to fish/camp out of, my favorite. Lot's of opportunities to fish the river or some of the islands. I have NEVER seen an alligator out there  poor thing must have got caught up in the tidal flow and lost it's way.

Rik, I think that area is better than area I have seen you out there before. We usually do Mormon as an overnight paddle from Choko Island there. But to have a shuttle is a very luxurious way to get to those remote sites. We are so lucky to have Wade, Bruce and Charles Wright at E City! Glad you all had a great time.

It's a whole different experience with the shuttle. This was my son's and one brother's first kayak trip down there so we wanted it to be as painless as possible. We had 3 large coolers and lots of 'stuff'. We ate well and didn't have to leave anything behind. The shuttle makes it possible to have New York Strips for dinner one night. I still had ice when I got home Tuesday afternoon! If you're going to do more then 2 nights at one site, the shuttle is wonderful.

The gator surprised all of us, including Capt. Wade. Highly unusual to see a gator on one of the outer islands.
Over every mountain there is a path, although it may not be seen from the valley

That's awesome.

I love ENP. The snook in my avatar was caught right by Mormon Key.

If your going in late March, take plenty of bug spray.
