Redfish, bluefish...
The redfish were cooperative once the tide got started. Really low tide to start the day. I got two redfish and then the bluefish invaded the shallow flat. I got cut off a couple of times and so I got out of there and went on to fish for The Other White Meat.
The blues were the 8 to 14 inchers.
The reds were both a little over 20 inches.
The whiting were big today. The bite was slower than it was earlier in the week but the outgoing tides have been better for them as a rule for the spot I'd anchored.
A few spanish mackerel were there too. And the bluefish were feeding on the top of the water all along the causeway all day long. There's still a ton of bait inshore. It's amazing that it's the end of December and there's still so much bait inshore.
