YES!! Light early mist my Ars!! Weathermen should be only compensated when they get it RIGHT ehh!
I got out to try my luck at the Fort this morning. on the water by 7:30am. When I launched all I saw was, well FOG! it looked eerie really., but I set out for some redfishing. There was quite a bit of mullet activity , so I thought to myself this could be good. I paddled for 2 hours looking for what appeared to be elusive redfish. I drift fished quite a bit using a mirrodine and an assortment of Gulps. Nada. I thought all hope was lost when on my paddle back to my launching spot I see some activity. I say what the heck..casted a gulp shrimp and Bam!, short fight later, but a good one, I landed a small redfish. I staked out the wang and figured this was a good spot. Yes it was. The next 45min or so I caught over 20 of the cutest lil' reds. yup cute is all I can say. No Mogans. It was fun fishing that pod, there had to be what looked like hundreds of them, but i'm sure not the case. They were hungry though! Not a bad morning for what I thought would be a Foggy Skunk!
On a side note: I think I took more photos of birds than I tried fishing, glad I didn't give up!
Few photos!

impressive pics
Ever considered enlarging some of your prime bird pics to almost poster size? Certainly would think there would be a market for them. Keep'um coming for all of us to ooh & ahhh. Thanks for sharing. rh

This has to be the funniest statement so far!! I'm still laughing 'cause I hear my wife saying that! nervous habitDaveR wrote:Don't bite your finger nails.
Thanks for the comments!
I used the Nikon D200 and NO tripod was used. I set the camera to Aperture Priority which gave me enough shutter speed to get decent photos.
