It looks like someone took a cheap, POS paddle, made some cuts in the blade that are just as useless just to justify charging even more for a POS paddle.
Paddles - they aren't just for the bedroom anymore.

I'm currently developing a prototype paddle. The entire blade of the paddle is razor sharp which will allow you to fillet your fish before you ever even get it in the yak.
Our tradition is that of the first man who snuck away to the creek when the tribe did not really need fish.

Looks like you can scale fish, saw firewood and skin a buck. Insane gimmick at best!!

It's the Swiss Army Paddle. I especially like the built in bottle opener.

Most of my time is spent on remote rivers, and for that, I think the paddle would be very practical.
Many times I’ve tried to push off a log only to have my paddle slip. And the hook would be great to help latch on to stationary objects while in current. I like it, a multi-tool paddle.
For flats or near shore fishing, I think it would be useless.

I totally agree. I was thinking about it last night while driving home and I can't imagine using it too much. Neat gimmick. If I spent all my time in swift back country streams and rivers maybe. I'd use it to hook onto a branch while resting to maintain position etc... I still think I might hack up a cheap paddle for the heck of it. I doubt it's reinforced anyway, looking at the pix. The frp they make canoe paddles out of is fairly strong and it would work fine. I can see using it instead of a boat hook for one less thing to carry. I never carried a boat hook either so who knows.

I wonder how much floating grass you would snag with the hook on that paddle. Just another gimmick in my opinion.
