This place sucks...

Post by CooKnFish »

As some of ya already know, Sharon and I have been pretty tied up lately.
Mom passed away a couple of weeks ago and we moved from Pinellas Park to Ruskin to be closer to my dad.

I thought I'd share a couple of pictures from the new yard.

Dad's place across the canal from ours.

I don't know how I'm going to get used to living here...

I didn't know about your mom. I'm terribly sorry. Moms are a hard thing to lose.

You are now living near HankyPanky and Heywood and a number of other PFers. And you guys are much closer to me. Heck, I can jet up there in minutes in the Hewes. Seems like a great place to live and fish.

The sacrifices you have to make for family.

Looks like you need to build a set of stairs to get the boats in the water.

Sorry to hear about your mom, still miss mine terribly after 18 years. I recognize that first picture, we were riding around in my in-laws pontoon boat a few weeks ago and went by there, does look pretty fishy in places.

My sympathy on you losing your Mom. No matter if it's 'expected' or no, it's hard.

On a happier note, maybe I'll run into you on this side of the Bay. You ever fish out of Bullfrog Creek?

Between you and Heywood showing off your new backyard diggs, I don't know who sucks more now.

So I'll settle with... YOU BOTH SUCK!!!
...hehe.

You know you already have my heartfelt condolences Mark. We'll have to plan a southside jaunt after you get settled.

Definitely sorry to hear about your Mom.

Now that I'm unemployed again, maybe I should buzz over and help you do some recon over there ... ;)

Sorry to hear about your Mom. You must have lost her about the same time as mine. Sheila and I are with Dad now and I can certainly understand what you are going through. You will be in our prayers.
