Thank You JayB
Thank You JayB
Everyone I know in Florida somehow stems from you. I knew you too briefly, but damn you did surround yourself with some really great people. A proper glass was used by all today. Thanks.

Here are some snapshots from today
Re: Thank You JayB
I think my good friend Norm said it best today. We are truly blessed to have such a great site where we can all come together and share our passion for kayak fishing. Where we can come together and make new friends, share time with current friends and reconnect with old friends. We owe it all to JayB and John, who was absent today and surely missed.
Enjoy the pictures from today.

Danielson, wax on, wax off.
Barb Foster, a very dear friend of Jay’s.

Just a sampling of the great food we had. A BIG THANKS TO THE COOKS. MarkR, Vlap, MikeB
Phinla also did some cooking. Is there nothing this guy can’t do?
Barb Foster brought a single yellow rose and asked if someone would toss it upon the waters in memory of Jay. Uncle Tommy paddled out too honor her request.
As the day came to a close, we all raised a “Proper” glass to toast our good friend Jay Brewington.

The long lost Llewellyn brother.
Thanks again to everyone that came out today in remembrance of a good man. To those I met for the first time today, it was great meeting you and I hope I didn’t forget anyone.

Santa Claus had a lil trouble paddling that old canoe today. Just glad he made it to shore safely. The applause when he did was thunderous.

Re: Thank You JayB
I enjoyed seeing everyone today. It is amazing that even though I don't really know some of the people all that well other than seeing them on the water sometimes, I really consider a lot of them very good friends and I have JayB to thank for that.
Thanks Jay, I think of you often!

What a day Beautiful weather inspite of the damn wind Was my Jean's very first initiation in kayaking....might call it her baptism under fire, but she was a real trooper and thoroughly enjoyed her day on the water. She wanted me to mention to all of you how much she enjoyed being with our group and now understands why I talk about our group the way I do.
The food was stellar as usual and worth the price of admission twice over Thanks to Mark, Jeff and Mike for all the vittles.
Im so sorry, but didn't find out till way too late who Barb Foster was and why she was here. I just thought some nice lady had set up a Scotch concession stand that was open to taste testing. Hope she reads this so I can thank her properly for making the trek all the way here and being so generous. Jay touched alot of people in his life and the outflow from his life force is still creating waves.

It's always a great time when we all get together in the same place at the same time. Thanks, Jay, for you are the one that has made this all possible over the past years.

Re: Thank You JayB
Sorry I missed this event. I was up in Tallahassee working. Ft. D would have been a much easier drive for sure. Looks like a great time! Thanks for sharing the pics Heywood and thank you Jay for your vision.
