Foggy Start / Tide1on Sighting.

Post by Heywood »

After a long week on the road and a busy day helping a buddy move, it was good to get out on the water. It started out just a bit foggy.

As we were getting ready to launch, no other than our own Tide1on, Steve shows up. Its good to see Steve back out on the water, its been a long time my friend.

I was contacted a while back by Greg, he had seen one of my articles and since he moved into the area, he had some questions about the "in's and out's" of the southshore. I invited him out a couple of weekends ago, but the fishing was slow and I wasnt able to get him on the redfish. Well, we took care of that today.

His first red. Greg caught on pretty quick, I think he stopped counting at 10. Mostly rats with a couple of upper slots mixed in.

Between four of us, we must have caught 30 reds. Golden Bream and Gold Darts did most of the work.

Great outing. I love the 2nd to the last pic of the Red with the reflection on the water.

Sounds like a great morning and great pics as alway.
Being out on the water in the kayak is the prize. Catching fish is the bonus.

Anytime Dave. I want to get out this year with as many people as I can and shoot pics.

Looks like a lot of rat reds are in the bay right now. Good job on the catching.

Hopefully Bills personal photographer can get back out on the water soon as well. My rods are screaming at me right now to get out on the water.
