Yes, sir. It has great action with the wide lip. You see how I am working it in the video. Sweep, pause/reel in slack, sweep... It's hard for them to resist.

I also pick up fish while trolling it behind the kayak.

That thing just looks wrong but I know it works for you. Especially in Cow Creek. Might have to invest.

Most lures are made to catch anglers. DOA makes them to catch fish. This thing wiggles and rolls just like a mullet would. When you make it look wounded, it's all over...

You should see what else it catches...

When you were stumming the line I figured you were trying to get the fish to jump some more. Looks like you edited out some of the dead time.

I edited 20 minutes down to 3 minutes of highlights. I was strumming the line to try to get the fish to move. It kept hanging right below the kayak. The fish rolled up at 15 min and I thought we were done but it took another dive and we fought for another 5 before the leader gave way.

I kinda want to try the BFL now. Is it too heavy to throw with a medium action spinning rod?

I depends on the rod. I have a Med that throws it better than another med-heavy. All I can say is give it a toss and find out.

That is so very cool! I know it's over-much-used, but you did get the best of that fish. Great jumps far enough away and to get it on film like that?

The quality of the Go-pro is amazing. Is that the latest generation camera?

Awesome footage, been thinking about making the plunge for the Go Pro, I pretty much always fish alone these days, so it would be sure would be nice to grab some footage every now and then.
