Thanks Walt. I didnt feel right putting you under the header of "Rookie", but it fit in with the number of years you have been at it in a kayak. Maybe "Somewhere in Between" would have been better? :lol:

Excellent, Bill. Very good info. I hope you'll interview more of the "old" guys and post it here. With a bit of editing, this has the makings of an article for a major publication. Heck, you could turn it into a book.

You guys really know how to stir a guy up. I just decided, as I've not fished the Gulf in the kayak before, that i will begin by just paddling out there to observe. Need to find a fishing buddy for Mon. or Tues. mornings before we try for that sleigh ride.
