I have 2 battles. A 3000 and a 2000. Both are corroding around the reel seat - and I wash them down after each use too. I'm just going to sand them down to the bare metal and reseal them myself. I can't (or don't want to) wait for the repairs when I can do them myself (unprofessionally)...
I do like the feel of the reels, the drag is nice but I don't have much to compare them to. Overall, I'm happy with them but would I buy them again? probably not.
Any updates on the Penn Battle?
