Folks,

I have caught more snook this year than ever. Is anyone else noticing the snookfest? Fished Manatee River yesterday and they were biting on everything a threw out. Last week was Bishops Harbor and same thing....

Was castnetting bait in tarpon springs and saw dozens of 18 inch snook next to the mangroves.

Caught a few back in the Spring (last time I was down that way). That is great to hear though. I have two kayaks loaded on my trailer and I'm headed to Anna Maria from Atlanta this afternoon. I will be down for two weeks and hope I run into the "snookfest". If any one wants to fish in the Bradenton/Anna maria area one morning in the next couple of weeks just let me know.
