Palma Sola 4/11

Post by SPORTSFAN »

Hello, plan is to be on the water when the sun rises. I have changed up my arsenal as the big Snook and Redfish are mocking me. Twice now I have seen them in staging areas if you will and no interest.
I have changed jig heads to 1/8 oz, made sure all my arti lures have a loop knot and my leader is only 20lb Fluorocarbon. I have rigged a plastic squid, various paddle tails from Mirror Lure and DOA. A few top waters and more I can't remember. I'm taking the net too and trying my luck to find some Pin's or Threadfins.

The number one rule of fishing is to fish where the fish are. Since you seem to have that part taken care of the rest will follow. Find ing thr right lure is part science, part are and mostly personal preference. Try any of the quality lures you see discussed in the forum and over time you will develop an affinity for a certain few that work best for you.
Being out on the water in the kayak is the prize. Catching fish is the bonus.
