Red, White, Blue, and Silver

Post by DaveR »

Algore said the earth is really warming up so I packed up the family to NJ to do a bit of tarpon fishing. There is a good bite going on at the Shrewsbury Rocks with the occasional roosterfish thrown in just to make things interesting. Problem is you have to go down to Cape Horn to get into any decent Stripers!
Rik and I hit the beach this morning and while Rik was the first to hook up his fish shook the hook in a few minutes. I managed to stick this one in the button and 30 minutes later she swam away.

Dave that looks more like the Belmar Jetty than the Shrewsbury Rocks......Algore must be right about global warming I haven't seen Tarpon in Belmar since the Asbury Park Black Tide situation in 1973......I am positive you are in NJ because I see a Max Hotdog mustard stain on your shirt..........Did you take Rik to "Whats Your Beef" for dinner?

You can do all kinds of things to a pic. Focus isn't one of them.

At first I thought that DaveR was using a banana for bait. And he does make some very good faces.
