Inside the hull storage?

I installed an 8" hatch in front of the seat of my Drifter. I opted for no cat bag because I use the access from the from hatch to store my rods in the hull during transport. I didnt want to deal with guides or hooks catching the bag. I was thinking of putting a plastic tray like a small wash tub under the hatch to hold small items. What adhesive will work without affecting the poly hull? Thanks, does anybody have a similar setup, Id love to see a photo or two for some ideas!
