I fish from shore somtimes but since this is my kayak launch point it almost qualifys as a kayak story. I was using a top pup chartreuse hoping for a snook when a small red 15" took it on the third try. Once it was released I changed focus from snook to reds. Twitch Twitch Twitch the flats rose in a mighty wave behind the pup, it appeared that a yard of red scales rolled past my lure missed it and vanished. Work interfered with time for fishing but saturday the tide is right!
