fished for a couple of hours this morning, foggy and a little chilly, threw a chugbug for a while as i drifted a shrimp behind the boat. nothing on the top water but got a nice trout on the shrimp, about 18". anchored in the area caught 1 rat red and a couple more trout in the next 1\2 hour or so.
paddled out to a little deeper water and must of ran into a large school of trout caught about 25 or 30 trout in the next hour on live shrimp, rootbeer cal shad tails and quite a few on gulp shrimp.
it's the first time i've really used the gulps with that much success.
i hope everyone's trip was as enjoyable as mine.
