Do you have too many lures???

Post by Paul »

In prepartation for Saturdays tourney - I was looking throught by inshore fishing gear....I think I may have a lifetime supply. Excluding braided line and flo-carbon leader

how long could you go on your current supply of lures

I find comfort in the one lure format....or at least having someone think for me

All of my fly boxes are filled to the brim. This only means that I need new boxes, never know when I will need to tie up some new pattern.

If i had to guess I'd say all together I have about 8lbs. of soft plastics. Probably 10-14 different kinds. In short, waaaaay too many!

anyone with too many lures can send some my way

Honestly, I don't think that I have too many, but i do find myself working the same ones over and over again and disregarding most of the others.

I have more than two lifetimes. Especially with as little as I fish now. But I couldnt use up all of them if I had to and I have probably given away twice as many as I own today.

Like jewelry and boyfriends, a girl can never have enough lures.

I currently have most of my fishing and kayaking stuff spread across the floor of a large room trying to decide how to better organize it. I need Erick to pay me a home visit.

If I could get all my lures back out of the trees along the Myakka River, I would have 3 lifetimes worth. :?

What do Mrs Erick and Dr Dubya think about this arrangement??

Lures. Ah lures.
Too many? Until any of you have your mode of transportation named after a tackle storage device, you don't have too many of them.
Until you've described it in triple digit poundage, you don't have too many lures.
Yes too many:
OK the flip side: If opening up a cabinet is kind of like Christmas Day Of Things I Forgot I Bought: You may have too many lures.
If you've ever handed out bags of lures to Trick Or Treaters, you have too many lures.
If you have ever gotten up in the night and got freaked out when you turned off the bathroom light by a Glow Tail, you might have too many lures
If drawers that should hold clothing and other personals, have Plano boxes in them, it's possible that you have too many lures.
If you've made reference specific to lures in your Will and Testament. You probably have serious issues well beyond the lure addiction

Too many lures is only really the case if you don't fish enough to use most of them.
