I've been doing quite a bit of bass fishing lately (I.e. the lake at one of the programs I work is great fishing! :) ) and the bite has been getting better and better. Today I went 6 out of 8 casts (during break of course)and one of which was a 6lber. When I set the hook on the 6lber several other bass the same size and larger took off. The fish have been bunched up and on the feed.
Anyone else experience the sudden switch turn on?
All fish have been on spin but, I will switch to fly if this bite keeps up.
This bass fishing thing is cool...
(Only when you have an outstanding bass lake and you're at work! )

No, the switch has been turned off for me. It was hot all Feb. but their off the beds now and sitting off in deeper water recouping. Harder to find. I love finding fish in spots nobody fishes, like right under their noses. Your very lucky to have something close to work!

I noticed a big turn in the bite, I had three bass chase a topwater (mirromullet) at the same time, they were all over it yesterday, and I managed 4 fish all together, a few smaller ones with a nice 4lb to top it off. and that was only on my two 15's and a 30 minute break during work 8)

Bass seem to be paling around together in groups of 3-6 and seemingly will hit anything you throw at them (at least at the pond I am fishing in they are.)
