Double branch????

Post by newyaker »

Has anyone fished out of double branch lately? I have never been there and was thinking about trying it out .

I've got your back buddy.

Double Branch won't have any water in it until it rains again.

Went a week ago for a little while. Didn't actually fish that much, just did a little exploring. I did hit a ladyfish hole with the fly rod. It was non stop for about 30 minutes until they shredded all my flies.

It's a few weeks too soon. I think it's supposed to be 90 again tomorrow.

I am looking for a place to fish when it gets very windy and cold ....I heard this place can be great for those conditions. Any other places that are close to there or nearby?Trying not to travel so far these days.

Sunday is supposed to be pretty breezy, I'm planning to check out Double Branch for the first time then. At least check the area out.

I was considering doing the same. Will you use the State Street put in or the Park? I would like to know which spot people prefer launching from.

I'm not sure if we'll be going after all, since the weather is supposed to suck. I have checked out the State St. launch which looks very good since I can slide my kayak right out the back of my truck to the water. The park launch is down a boardwalk to a floating dock. So I prefer the easier State St. launch.
