It looks like it was a beautiful day to be flying. The thunderstorms must have popped up later or stayed to the east.

That is on the inside of Weedon just east of the canoe launch. It is a sandbar that is a very popular party spot ever since they banned alcohol at Shell Key and gas prices went way up.

Yep, saw them same exact boats on Saturday.

Heard their boom boxes

long before I exited the trails for that last stretch back to the pier/launch.

If the noise level keeps up I would just bet the people living across the channel from the sand bar have enough clout/money to have that area patrolled and at least the radios turned down.

I'm all for everyone having a great time but not at the expense of others.

I know sound carries but these radios sounded like they were in the mangroves with me at times.

it has always been popular - My boat seems to like that area for beer drinking and the dogs get their groove on too.
