It looks like it was a beautiful day to be flying. The thunderstorms must have popped up later or stayed to the east.

Yep, saw them same exact boats on Saturday. :shock: :? :(

Heard their boom boxes :evil: long before I exited the trails for that last stretch back to the pier/launch.

If the noise level keeps up I would just bet the people living across the channel from the sand bar have enough clout/money to have that area patrolled and at least the radios turned down.

I'm all for everyone having a great time but not at the expense of others.

I know sound carries but these radios sounded like they were in the mangroves with me at times.

it has always been popular - My boat seems to like that area for beer drinking and the dogs get their groove on too.

There is a party spot like that just inside John's pass too.
