Today was a bit windy but a beautiful day at Fort Desoto to pay respects to JayB. I don't believe I ever met him but he sounds like he was a great friend and fellow angler.
Here are some pictures of the day. Enjoy!!!

.... nope, just relocated.
The pics are evidence that he's still amongst us ...

Well done, folks. I only knew him through a couple of pm's and what everyone has said on the web, but I did get a little catch in my throat with the last picture. I hope someone makes the pics available to his family.
I think I did meet him on the water once while we were fishing though.

Frank - I'd bet that you met him at Fort D on one of your many trips since that was one of his favorite spots.

I finally found Cow Creek. It's at the end of the Road to Nowhere!
Right. I believe he was in the kayak that was stolen later. He was heading to go under the new little bridge and I asked him how he liked the boat. He was not very talkative but was polite as we passed each other on the water. Think he had a date with a school of reds. Had I realized who he was, I would have probably been a pest.
