Any Bait shop around.

ozello
Take US-19 about 3 miles north of Homosassa Springs to Ozello Trail. Turn left (west) onto Ozello Trail and take it to the end, it ends at Sanddollar lane. Take a right and go about 100 yards, the kayak launch will be on your left. If you can figure out which direction you are facing at this point... props to you.
Not exactly sure about the closest bait shop.

ozello bait shop
there is a small bait shop on hwy 19 just south of wal-mart on the north bound side, just before walgreens (same side of the road) in homosassa, i have been in there before, they have some tackle and bait, (small shop) the bad part is parking, i parked in the walgreens parking lot, but i think they do not want you there unless you are shopping with them. other than that, there are some signs on the ozello trail that advertise a place that sells bait, but i have never been there. i think the ozello outpost store has some tackle and bait as well. if you go further north in to the town of crystal river, there is a west marine, and a hand full of small bait shops right on hwy 19. is there something you are looking for?

tree at ozello
took this last spring a storm was coming in pushing the tide, here is what is left of the tree
more of the same day, you can see my son floating his kayak all the way up to where the truck was parked
i have never seen the water up this far, but it did make it easy to load the kayaks just float them up to your truck and load. no cart needed. t

As simple as it was, that tree was a really noticeable landmark for Oz. It ticked me off when I saw someone had used it for firewood.
The pictures above are the reason I always park up on the little raised area by the palm trees...I've seen the whole entire parking lot under 6-12" of water on several occasions just from an approaching storm. The water can really come up quick.
