Enjoyed fishing interior Alaska, Talkeetna River. Guide took us up river, where we waded and floated back. Managed to get many Dolly Varden trout, Grayling and Rainbows. My wife, naturally, caught the biggest rainbow. Great time, strong current. Interesting to see how the glacial rivers mingle with the other streams and the transitions they create. This was my first experience with freshwater trout and I was impressed with the fight put up by Grayling. Scenery was pretty good too.

Grayling are a fish on my wish list too, along with all the other Alaskan species.
